Sinds iWeb 08 heb je de mogelijkheid om je iWeb site op je eigen domein te laten landen die is gehost op .mac. Dat ziet er wat beter uit dan http://homepage.mac.com/marcvv/. Volgens de support site van Apple is dat in 1,2,3 gefixed. Dat bleek toch echter wat lastiger. Na wat Googlen vond ik een uitleg hoe het werkt via Godaddy. Daarnaast een mailtje naar eurodns gezonden en ik kreeg netjes onderstaande mail terug met uitleg: je moet de Cname editten:

update/edit Cname, please access your account and enter the DNS Management menu.You find this menu listing your domain(s) name(s) (last icon in the row)This icon only exists if your domain name is hosted on the DNS Servers of Eurodns. Under “HOST NAME” panel where you have your current setting please choose ‘Host Alias’ and click on ADD and tape your CNAMEImportant “is the dot at the end” behind your CNAME you must have a “.” Last step: save your modification and save to exit from DNS control panel at finally.”
